Compassionate Communication Practice Group

Learning to communicate compassionately takes practice because most of us were taught a different way of communicating, which is often filled with judgment, a desire to control, and storytelling. Communicating compassionately begins with the ability to be present to identify and navigate your own emotions and needs, then learning to be present with others’ emotions and needs. Join us to practice communicating with compassion based on the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg, PhD, in Nonviolent Communication.

When: 1st Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, beginning  October 3,2017.
3rd Saturdays from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, beginning October 21, 2017.

Hosts:    Maureen Truncone and Angel Eason, two dedicated Nonviolent Communication students with a strong desire to spread compassion and empathy in our community.
